Feedback from our Early Users
As part of our pilot program, here’s what early users had to say.
Got questions? We’ve got answers.
What is Cryptostash?
Cryptostash™ is a new way to gift crypto. We offer physical and digital crypto gift cards that let you send Bitcoin, Solana, and more - easily and securely. No wallet or crypto experience required.
Are your cards physical or digital?
Both! We offer physical cards for in-store gifting and are developing digital eGift delivery via email, SMS, or WhatsApp - availability depends on region.
What cryptocurrencies can I gift?
At launch, Cryptostash cards will support Bitcoin (BTC), Solana (SOL), XRP, and USDT. More options may be added over time based on region and compliance.
What is Cryptostash?
We're preparing to launch in the UAE first, followed by the U.S. and selected MENA countries. Availability may vary by region - stay tuned.
Can I choose the amount?
Yes. We offer preset amounts (like $100, AED 500, etc.) and also plan to support custom values depending on jurisdictions and regulations on the selected region.
Is Cryptostash available now?
Not yet. We’re in pre-launch phase. You can follow us or sign up to get notified when we go live in your country.
How does someone redeem a Cryptostash card?
Whether physical or digital, every Cryptostash card includes a secure code and PIN.Just enter it on our website to unlock your crypto - no wallet or crypto knowledge required.(Availability may vary by jurisdiction and local regulations.)
Can I check the balance of my card?
Yes. Once we launch, you’ll be able to check your card balance or activation status by entering your Security ID and PIN on our website.
Do I need a crypto wallet to redeem the card?
No. Cryptostash includes a built-in wallet. The crypto is securely stored without needing any apps, exchanges, or third-party wallets.
What’s the difference between digital and physical cards?
Physical cards are purchased in-store and include a scratch-off code. Digital cards (eGifts) are delivered via email, SMS, or WhatsApp. Both work the same - just enter the code to redeem your crypto.
Can the card be sent as a gift to someone else?
Yes! Cryptostash cards are made for gifting. You can give them in person (physical) or send them instantly (digital), depending on availability in your country.
Do I need to activate the card before giving it?
No. All Cryptostash cards come preloaded and ready to redeem.Just share the card or eGift - the recipient handles the rest.
What currencies do you accept for payment?
Cryptostash cards are primarily sold through retail partners and merchants.
That means accepted currencies and payment methods depend on the store or platform where you buy the card.
In most cases, you'll pay in your local currency using standard methods like cash, card, or online checkout - set by the retailer.
For employee benefit programs or business gifting, we may offer direct purchase options, typically in USD or AED (depending on region).
Cryptostash does not process or control retail checkout payments. Pricing and methods are determined by our distribution partners. Can I choose a custom amount?
Yes! Choose one of our preset tiers or set your own amount. Custom amounts are subject to a maximum limit (and may vary based on region and jurisdiction).
Yes, we plan to support both preset card values (like $100, AED 500, etc.) and custom amounts.
However, availability of custom denominations will depend on:- The region (UAE, MENA, U.S., etc.)
- Retail partner capabilities
- And most importantly, local regulations and compliance approval
In some jurisdictions, only fixed card amounts may be allowed at launch.
We’ll expand flexible pricing options as permitted. Is there a fee for using Cryptostash?
No hidden fees. The full card value is applied to your selected crypto. Network or redemption fees may apply depending on the blockchain and card type.
Where can I see the final price or value of the card?
At launch, we accept payments in AED (United Arab Emirates Dirham). More currencies (like SAR) will be added son depending on regions we are launching. The final card price and crypto value will be shown by the retailer or platform at checkout.
In most cases, you’ll see both the purchase amount and the crypto equivalent before confirming.
Cryptostash does not set retail pricing - it’s determined by our distribution partners based on local market conditions. Are taxes or fees included in the card value?
The full card value is applied toward your crypto gift. Any sales tax, processing, or network fees are shown at checkout or during redemption, depending on the region and partner.
Can the card value change after purchase?
No. Once a Cryptostash card is purchased, its value is fixed. However, the crypto amount it represents may fluctuate based on market prices at the time of redemption (if applicable to your region and product type).
Is this safe? What if someone steals my card?
Cryptostash cards are secure by design - but they should be treated like physical cash or gold.
Once activated and the crypto is loaded, a physical card acts as a cold wallet. The private key is printed under the scratch-off layer.
If someone gains access to your card and scratches off the foil, they can access your crypto. That’s why we recommend storing it in a safe place, just like you would with gold, cash, or a valuable USB stick.
👉 Until the card is redeemed, no one can move the funds - but after redemption, ownership is tied to whoever holds the private key.Are the transactions traceable?
Yes. Once a Cryptostash card is activated and exchanged, a blockchain transaction is created, making it fully traceable on-chain.
Each card is tied to a unique wallet and transaction ID. While the initial card may be purchased anonymously (similar to a gift card), the crypto movement itself is publicly recorded on the blockchain.
Cryptostash prioritizes transparency, regulatory compliance, and responsible crypto usage in every supported region. Is Cryptostash regulated?
Cryptostash FZCO is currently in the process of obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals in the UAE and other planned markets.
We follow a compliance-first model, and only launch in jurisdictions where we're authorized to operate.
Our operations are designed to align with local rules for prepaid products, stored value, and virtual assets.
Can I recover my crypto if I lose the card?
Unfortunately, no. If a physical Cryptostash card is lost after activation and redemption, it works like a cold wallet - and anyone with access to the private key (under the scratch layer) controls the crypto.
That’s why we recommend treating it like cash or gold: once redeemed, store it somewhere secure.
Is my personal data safe?
Yes. We follow strict data protection practices and only collect the minimum information required to operate securely and legally in each region.
No sensitive personal data is stored on the card itself.
Can someone else redeem my card before me?
Only if they gain access to your Security ID and PIN (or private key in case of physical cards).
Until redeemed, the funds remain locked. Once redeemed, ownership transfers to the holder of the private key - so never share your codes, and keep the card safe.
Where is Cryptostash available?
Cryptostash is not yet live.
